High-end GPUs demand a lot from their power cables — and standard 12V-2×6 cables aren’t always up to the task. Uneven current distribution across pins can create hotspots that push connector temperatures well beyond safe limits, causing long-term damage or catastrophic failure under sustained 600W loads.
The ROG Equalizer fixes this at the hardware level. Its patented design actively balances current delivery across all six power pins, keeping connector temperatures below 105°C even under extreme conditions where a standard cable would reach ~146°C. Combined with nearly double the per-cable current rating (17A vs 9.2A standard), this is the cable upgrade your GPU deserves.
Built from tin-plated oxygen-free copper with an etched cable jacket, the ROG Equalizer is pliable, easy to route, and rated 50°C below its safety ceiling during normal cable management. Gold-plated spring contacts on the GPU-side connector reduce resistance and hold up through repeated connections. Three included quick-release cable combs make it easy to dress your build cleanly.
Fully compliant with ATX 3.1 and PCIe 5.1 standards, the ROG Equalizer supports power excursions up to 3x rated power for GPU spikes. Optional software monitoring via GPU Tweak III Power Detector+ provides a second layer of real-time protection (coming soon).
